Eductive Media invites artists of all backgrounds and skill levels to join our transmedia universe exploring the French Revolution through music, visual arts and video games.

Winner 1 - Work with Dream Reality Interactive: 

Illustrate digital cards for a historical video game based on Lazare Hoche’s imprisonment in Carmes Prison during the French Revolution.


Winner 2 - Work with Eductive Media:

Create animation frames for a short film on the theme of slavery during the French Revolution.

The images above are inspirations from other projects. Stylized, expressive visuals that convey emotional and historical depth.

Prizes

Two winners will receive a free ticket to Osaka, Paris, or London (your choice!) AND a 1-month paid contract to contribute to professional creative projects:

WHAT TO SUBMIT

1. Portfolio of Minimum 10 Images (PDF file(s) only)  including:

  • Comic or manga pages (finished or in-progress)
  • Character designs (any genre)
  • At least one dramatic or emotional scene
  • At least one original hand-drawn or touch-pen work

2. Short Artist Statement (max 250 words):

  • Introduce yourself and tell us why you’re interested in this project

AWARD CEREMONY

The winners will be officially announced on 18 September 2025, and the award will be presented during Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
